Our Approach

To mark 20 years of generational impact, Atlanta Beltline commissioned a multi-format storytelling experience for their annual State of the Beltline event, an invitation-only stakeholder gathering with breakfast service. The centerpiece was a 15–20 minute theatrical presentation performed live by two actors, supported by a custom sizzle reel, original animation, voiceover, and archival video and photography. Chil & Co. led the full creative and production process from script to stage.

  • Sizzle reel: Hero video deliverable; produced for live event presentation

  • Scriptwriting & story development: Original narrative written to anchor 20 years of civic and community impact

  • Voiceover production: Professional VO artist coordinated and recorded for the sizzle reel

  • Casting & talent coordination: Actor and VO talent sourced, contracted, and managed through production

  • Live theatrical performance: Two-actor format staged and choreographed for a stakeholder audience

  • Animation: Custom animation woven into the sizzle reel for visual storytelling

  • Creative direction: Visual and narrative direction across all formats: film, animation, and live

The Results

The 2025 State of the Beltline project delivered a cohesive, multi-format storytelling experience that elevated Atlanta Beltline’s 20-year milestone and created a memorable moment for key stakeholders:

  • Immersive Civic Storytelling: A live theatrical presentation, custom sizzle reel, archival media, animation, and voiceover worked together to transform the event from a traditional annual update into a layered narrative experience.

  • Clearer Impact Narrative: The presentation helped Atlanta Beltline articulate two decades of civic, cultural, and community impact in a way that felt human, place-based, and easy for stakeholders to connect with.
