In the winter of 2021, the creative team at Microsoft reached out to us to help develop an image and video catalog for the launch of a new brand for their video discussion app, Flip (formerly known as FlipGrid).
Flip is used in over 100 countries worldwide and provides a safe space online for small groups such as classrooms, families, and small businesses to share, learn, and build community with each other.
Our task was to create content to utilize on the Flip app, the Flip website and Flip commercials. In addition, we needed to implement a special interactive experience at their annual festival, FlipFest.
While working with Flip, we executed over 20 unique productions over the span of 12 weeks, coordinated with 60+ diverse models and delivered 37+ photo folders filled with lifestyle and studio portrait productions. Our team also produced 20+ videos with b-roll footage tailored to each lifestyle theme.
FLIP DANCE LENS
We contributed to Flip’s goal of building community by creating a brand-specific, animated dance lens filter, made specifically for the Flip lens app. Our team was delighted to see the filter implemented and go viral on Twitter and other platforms during the brand launch at FlipFest 2022!
Through this project, we produced high-quality content reflecting the community Flip was created to foster, while also creating assets easily adopted by their audience.
