JUNIOR ART DIRECTOR
Location: Atlanta, GA (local to the Metro Atlanta area or able to commute)

We’re a creative agency based in Atlanta, and we’re looking for an in-house Junior Art Director who brings strong visual instincts, fresh ideas, and a collaborative spirit. You’ll work closely with our creative team to help concept, design, and execute work across multiple platforms while continuing to grow your craft.
This is a 3-month contractor role, with the possibility of extension for the right fit.
What You’ll Do
Quality Review & Brand Consistency (approximately 60% of role)
Review creative projects to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with creative direction
Provide thoughtful feedback and clear creative guidance to the team
Maintain consistency in visual elements across all platforms and deliverables
Ensure all work adheres to established brand guidelines while thoughtfully pushing creative boundaries
Content Creation
Assist in creating visual assets, including graphics, layouts, and illustrations
Execute designs based on established concepts while meeting project objectives and timelines
Support photography and videography needs during productions or as needed to fill creative gaps
Collaboration
Work closely with Creatives, Project Managers and the Creative Director
Ensure a cohesive and integrated approach across all creative deliverables
Incorporate internal and client feedback into design iterations
Conceptualization & Ideation
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop visual concepts for projects
Contribute innovative ideas that elevate the overall creative and design direction
Presentation
Prepare and participate in presentations to clearly communicate and sell design concepts
Support creative leadership in presenting ideas to internal teams and clients
Research & Trend Awareness
Stay up to date on creative trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies
Apply insights to keep work fresh, relevant, and culturally informed
Project Management
Manage multiple creative projects—including photo, design, video, and social—while meeting deadlines
Collaborate with project managers to prioritize tasks, timelines, and deliverables
Support the management of creatives and freelancers to ensure work quality, efficiency, and alignment with team goals
Adaptability
Adapt to evolving project needs, shifting priorities, and client feedback in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in a creative agency or similar environment
A strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, layout, and visual storytelling
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite,
Solid understanding of typography, color, and composition
Ability to take direction, manage feedback, and work efficiently under deadlines
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Motion, video, or animation experience is a plus

Compensation & Length
Hourly Rate: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience and skill set
Schedule: 35 hours per week
