SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Location: Atlanta, GA (local to the Metro Atlanta area or able to commute)

Type: Contract, 3 months (with potential to extend)

Start: ASAP

Our creative team is seeking a strategic in-house Social Media Manager who has experience with managing multiple client accounts. You will work directly with our Creative and Project Management Teams along with assisting our production team. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of written communication and the current digital media landscape, including various social media platforms (Instagram Feed, Stories, Reels LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc). This position is hands-on and requires an open mindset to learning new procedures, strategies and creative projects.

Candidates must provide a portfolio or examples of previous work to be considered. 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute social media strategies for client accounts, aligned with brand voice and business goals

  2. Lead client meetings related to social strategy and performance, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations

  3. Generate original, engaging ideas that capture the attention of target audiences across social platforms

  4. Write, edit, and optimize copy for social media, blogs, web content, and marketing materials

  5. Manage and curate social content calendars using Sked Social (or similar social management tools)

  6. Assist in shaping content strategies while maintaining active community engagement across platforms

  7. Ideate, produce, and publish phone-captured content for social channels

  8. Participate in and support integrated marketing campaigns

  9. Manage and organize content assets across teams and platforms

  10. Schedule, deploy, and monitor social media posts

  11. Support the organic growth of social media accounts through consistent, strategic content

  12. Engage with audiences through timely and thoughtful social media interactions

  13. Analyze social performance data and prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and clients

  14. Cover events by capturing real-time content and supporting live social posting as needed

Required Skills:

  1. Have a College Degree in Communications, Marketing or similar field is a plus

  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills

  3. Working knowledge of all social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)

  4. Strong data analysis skills preferred

  5. Some visual design experience preferred

  6. Excellent time management skills 

  7. Excellent attention to detail

  8. Accountability and teamwork

  9. Willingness to learn

Compensation & Length

  1. Hourly Rate: $15-$18 per hour

  2. Schedule: 35 hours per week

  3. Type: Contract role, 3 months, with the possibility of extension
