MARKETING & EVENTS INTERN

We’re a creative agency looking for a curious, self-driven Marketing & Events Intern who wants hands-on experience in real-world brand marketing—everything from event support and on-site activations to social content, logistics, and campaign planning.

This internship is designed for current students, recent graduates, or early-career creatives who want to build skills in:

  • Event planning & execution

  • Marketing coordination

  • Social media & content support+

You’ll work closely with our team—sitting in on strategy conversations, supporting the planning process, helping execute activations, and learning how we bring campaigns to life across digital and physical touchpoints.

This is a training-focused role with an emphasis on mentorship, education, and skill-building. Academic credit can be supported if your school allows it, but it’s not required.

What You’ll Do (with Support & Mentorship)

You’ll be learning by doing—with guidance every step of the way.

Shadow & Assist on Marketing Projects

  • Observe how we develop marketing and event concepts

  • Sit in on creative briefings, internal brainstorms

  • Assist with research, planning, and light administrative tasks under clear direction

Support Event Planning & Logistics

  • Help prepare checklists, timelines, sponsorship coordination

  • Assist with asset organization and inventory management

  • Learn the operational side of executing events smoothly and professionally

Support Social & Digital Marketing

  • Assist with gathering content during events for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms

  • Help organize assets, track deliverables, and support campaign calendars

  • Learn how event moments translate into digital storytelling

Join Strategy, Review & Debrief Sessions

  • Sit in on internal reviews and post-event debriefs to understand how we measure success.

  • Hear how marketing and event decisions are made—and how those inform next steps.

  • Contribute ideas for events, social content, and brand engagement as you gain confidence.

Your work will complement—not replace—the work of paid staff. Everything is supervised with regular feedback and support.

What You’ll Learn

We want you to walk away with practical, usable skills. Over the 3 months, you’ll gain experience in:

  • End-to-end event planning—from concept to execution.

  • Managing logistics, timelines, and cross-functional communication.

  • Capturing and repurposing event content for digital use.

  • Understanding marketing objectives and guest experience

We provide:

  • Weekly check-ins to review progress, answer questions, and set learning goals.

  • Opportunities to join planning calls, strategy conversations, and post-event debrief

  • Guidance from our Creative Director and Event Coordinator

Ideal Skills & Background

You don’t need to come in with event experience—we’ll train you. You’re a great fit if:

  • You’re a current student, recent graduate, or early-career creative interested in marketing, events, PR, communications, hospitality, or a related area.

  • You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple small tasks.

  • You enjoy working with people

  • You’re open to feedback, collaborative, and excited to learn.

  • You’re interested in social media, brand storytelling, and customer experience.

Format & Location

This is a hybrid internship based in Atlanta:

  • Most work will be remote, focusing on planning, training, and post-production tasks.

  • You’ll be expected to attend in-person productions in Atlanta or surrounding areas 1–3 times per week, depending on the schedule and project needs.

Compensation, Stipend & Duration

  • Length: 3 months

  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (we’ll set a consistent schedule together)

  • Compensation: This is an unpaid, training-focused internship.

  • Stipend: For each day you work, the agency provides a $15/day stipend intended to help offset transportation and meal costs.

Your first week is focused on onboarding and training (tools, workflows, expectations) and is included within the 3-month internship under the same stipend structure.

Internship Structure & Growth Path

Onboarding Week
If selected, you’ll start with an onboarding and training week (remote and/or hybrid) focused on:

  • Learning our tools, workflows, and expectations

  • Getting to know the team and how we communicate

  • Setting your learning goals for the internship

This onboarding week is part of the 3-month internship and is covered by the same $15/day stipend.

3-Month Content Creator Internship
After onboarding, you’ll move into the full internship phase:

  • ~20 hours per week for the remainder of the 3 months

  • Ongoing project support, mentorship, and portfolio development

  • Regular check-ins to align on goals, expectations, and growth

Phase Two: Paid Creative Fellowship (Optional, Not Guaranteed)

Interns who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, and growth may be invited to continue into a second phase as a Paid Creative Fellow (typically an additional 3-month period).

  • The fellowship is a paid, early-career role with increased responsibility and continued mentorship.

  • You’ll continue to support our creative, social, and production work while deepening your skills and familiarity with our workflows.

  • Selection for the fellowship depends on performance and business needs and is not guaranteed.

There is no guarantee of a paid position at the end of the internship. However, interns who successfully complete the program and demonstrate strong skills, professionalism, and initiative may be considered for future paid project-based, fellowship, or part-time opportunities as they become available and as business needs allow.
