30 Days of Summer

Our team spent the month of June in various degrees of remote-work while still keeping the agency momentum running full steam ahead.

A Look Inside FLORAMATIC | A Virtual Show

Event and art spaces have been monumentally impacted by COVID-19. Despite the challenges of social distancing our team worked to find solutions. So how does a business like an art gallery launch an exhibition opening during a pandemic? In June, we worked with our client, FreeMarket Gallery to market and host a completely virtual gallery exhibition online.

Our team kicked off the project by photographing and filming the FreeMarket Gallery throughout the process of launching their spring show, FLORAMATIC. A 360-degree virtual walkthrough was filmed and available online for clients to experience all from the comfort of home. In addition, the virtual walkthrough enabled prospective buyers to purchase artwork directly from the virtual tour with a seamless point of sale experience. Click below to take the tour!

Our team brought the excitement of attending an art exhibition directly into the homes of FreeMarket Gallery’s clients. With the creation of an online streaming event, our team produced and directed a packed schedule of engaging events such as artists Q&A panels, DJ spinning beats, food and drink demonstrations, artists painting sessions, giveaways and more— ALL LIVE!

Four Days, Four Ways

Without a doubt, the Black Lives Matter movement has profoundly impacted everyone on our team. With the resources of our community-focused sister company, fourofour our team immediately launched into action. Although we acknowledge systemic racism exists, we knew we needed to do more to educate ourselves on ways to create positive change.

As a company, we used our platform on fourfour to share carefully researched tools, campaigns, petitions, highlight black-owned businesses, and share a real account of the peaceful protests not covered on mainstream media. The fourofour campaigns were successful in over 4,000 unique visitors to change.org to sign the petitions for the Georgia Hate Crime bill, justice for Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd.

Class is Now in Session

We know during this time of sheltering-in-place many people are looking for opportunities to pick up a new hobby or finally take some time to brush up on a skillset. Our team is proud to announce that we have launched a series of workshops through Chil Studios led by industry experts. Whether you’re looking to learn more about that camera you haven’t picked up in months or finally learn how to edit photos in Lightroom— we have the class for you. Not to mention, you’ll be in a virtual class with other interesting and creative individuals just like yourself.

A Distanced Get-Together

After 100+ days of various degrees of remote work, our entire Chil team got together to enjoy a hot dog picnic in the park. Here is proof that anyone can have a good time within an open-air environment, with masks on while staying 6 feet apart.

Until next time, be safe and be well!
