Surviving May-hem

It’s now been over two months since our team has transitioned to remote work and time has not stood still. On the brink of the pandemic, we understood we needed to work faster and harder than ever before. We’ve found solutions to collaborate virtually and practice safe social distancing inside the office.

We are incredibly proud of the resilience and determination our team has shown. While navigating this new norm we have quickly adapted to the changing landscape and have successfully accomplished some pretty amazing things. If you follow us on Instagram you may have caught a sneak peek (and if you’re not following us-- go hit that follow button!), but here’s a recap if you missed it.

Discovering a new approach

Our semi-virtual, but 100% socially distanced discovery meeting with new clients, Ken and Jeannette of La Bodega. Our team had an opportunity to come together at our studio and virtually to host a discovery session to kick off this project. Watch this space for exciting updates.

FLORAMATIC

We understand that businesses need solutions to swiftly adapt to the needs of the present. Together our production and design teams helped create a digital art experience, FLORAMATIC for Atlanta-based art gallery FreeMarket. Our client came to us seeking a way to transform a traditional gallery show to an interactive virtual show. In addition to designing digital assets including flyers, teasers, promotional videos, and photography— our team offered comprehensive strategy on engaging experiences. We implemented a virtual 360 gallery walk-through with information linking buyers directly to FreeMarket’s website, live artists Q&A’s, music, drinks, and more.

Mr. Michael Render

Before he gave the Speech Heard Around the World, we had the extraordinary pleasure to host legendary Atlanta-rapper, activist, and overall inspiration Killer Mike at Chil Studios. They say never meet your idols, but with all sincerity Killer Mike is the real deal. We are grateful to be part of the Atlanta creative community that continually affords us opportunities to build rich relationships.

Studios 2.0

Speaking of Chil Studios— in May we launched a brand new site that allows guests to quickly schedule their shoot and rent any additional equipment they need all in one click. We’re proud to have done this without any code (ask us how!). Interested in learning more? Click here.

Meet our new interns!

Ask anyone on the Chil team what makes us stand out and they will tell you it’s all about the people. We are so proud to share that we grew our team with the addition of graphic design intern, Cally, and fourofour intern Nigel. These two are already blowing it out of the water and we’re grateful to have them on the team.

Virtual is our reality

We are continuing to adapt to the Matrix and offer virtual experiences all available through the comfort of home on a computer or mobile device. By creating 360 videos our clients were able to give virtual tours of properties and even host museum exhibitions— all online!

I’ll take engagement for 500, Alex

Through analytics and reporting we learned that just because people are spending more time online doesn’t mean they’re necessarily more willing to engage with any content that pops up on their feed. Our team strategized compelling ways our social media accounts could remain fun, informative, and most importantly engaging. One of those ways was custom trivia quizzes in stories. Our team was able to increase overall social engagement on one account by 48.8% and increase total impressions by 18.6%!

We made it to June and you made it to the end of this post! Keep up with our projects by following us on LinkedIn and Instagram. Want to know what else we’re up to? Be sure to check out fourofour.co and Chil Studios.
